Podcast: Running Tales
In November 2023, I joined Craig Lewis on the Running Tales Podcast. Running Tales does exactly what it says on the tin; it tells the stories of every day runners in a relatable manner. Craig and Michelle are passionate storytellers and use that passion to inspire runners and non-runners alike with stories about how running has impacted so many lives.
You can access the full podcast (circa 48 minutes) via the following media:-
You can also read a full write-up of the conversation here on the Running Tales Substack page.
There was no rigid agenda, just an exchange of WhatsApps beforehand exchanging some ideas. What followed was a thoroughly engaging conversation which I thoroughly enjoyed.
We talked about talked about the mental health benefits of running – and how, when I became too focused on times, I briefly fell out of love with the sport. We also touched on my 100 marathon goal, and raising tens of thousands of pounds for Mind, the mental health charity.
CONTENT WARNING: This episode includes discussion of a sensitive nature around mental ill health
