#BlueMonday is a myth. It’s a marketing tool. There is no reason why you should feel any worse or better today than on any other day.

Today, like any others, we can celebrate the small wins and can be vulnerable about the things that are challenging us in life.

We can look behind us and see what we have accomplished and what we could have done differently.

We can look ahead and see challenge, but also see opportunity to overcome them and thrive.

The only thing blue this Monday was the beautiful sky on my walk this morning.

Not pretty, not far, not spectacular… but I ran twice in a day for the first time in what seems like an eternity.

Celebrating the little wins are important! And I got to see THAT sunrise on the walk into work from a station that isn’t what it says it is!

Today started with a 6am thrashing from @lucy_b_pt … actually, it wasn’t at all, it was a great PT session that me and Claire really enjoyed!! It ended with a gentle jog home from the office.

Every road begins somewhere and the road back to physical shape starts here.

With illness & injury, I’ve not run further than 6.4 miles since October, but am slowly building back up!

However, I’m going to run 3 hours 12 minutes this weekend over two days, consuming every moment of @marathontalk, celebrating its impact on my life & that of many others.
