I have taken the difficult, yet very easy, decision to postpone my #20in2020 campaign as we continue to navigate this difficult time for so many.

It is conceivable, and I would not for a moment dispute, that there will be no mass participation running events in 2020. And even if there were, I could not imagine getting the sense of joy that makes fundraising and running so special.

I will, as long as the global situation allows it, be running 21 marathons in 2021 to earn the money that has so generously been donated already, and to reach the ambitious target to support four magnificent charities.

While #21in2021 may not have quite the same ring to it... it will be one amazing ride, one in which you will hopefully support me in changing lives.

I do, however, have one big ask of you! More now than ever, these charities need your support.

You can read more about why I chose these charities on my 20 in 2020 Vision page.

A reminder that as plan for #20in2021 continue, you can subscribe to my newsletter updates to keep in touch.

We are hitting difficult economic times and whilst I would, of course, appreciate continued donations, I will not actively pursue. However, you really will be impacting on more lives than you know if you can help me to support them right now.

September's Richmond RunFest Marathon was my favourite of last year and I'm hoping to be back in 2021... and 2020 if it's safe!
